This bird festival was to showcase the endemic birds of the region. It involved a number of activities including talks about the birds, visiting the Bird Hide and for the primary schoolers drawings and other art and craft on the topic.
Day 1– May 12, 2022: Community members from the Portland Bight Protected Area at Workshop #1 at the Portland Bight Discovery Centre, Salt River, Clarendon. Session led by D. Brandon Hay, Science Officer
Day 2 – May 13, 2022: Positive Pathways youth group at the PBDC, Salt River Clarendon
Day 3 – May 16, 2022: Basic and Primary school participants
Day 4 – May 18, 2022: Kemps Hill High school participants
